What to wear/bring
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing (we go out in nearly all weather - be prepared!)
Comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking
A stethoscope and eye protection (for foot care)
Water for yourself and a small snack if-needed
A small backpack for your things
What to do/know
Approach patients in pairs (the rest of the group can join later)
Match patients’ body language (i.e. if they’re sitting on the ground, sit on the ground with them)
Always behave professionally and respectfully
Clinic Runs

All your diagnostic / physical exam equipment
A pen and paper
Comfortable, non-revealing clothing (A sweater or light jacket may be wise)
Closed-toe shoes
what to do/know
Work with a partner or two to interview and evaluate your patients (put your clinical training to work!)
Present the patient case to the preceptor(s) to help determine your treatment plan
Always behave professionally and respectfully
Ask the street leader for help if you need anything!
